Rod Blanks

My rod blanks of choice are either MHX or CRB brands, depending on your price point and rod type. MHX is a world class, high quality rod blank company known for a great blend of high performance competitive pricing. They offer a huge selection of rod types with rods specifically designed for many fish categories, from crankbait to fly to offshore.

Each rod passes a 7 point inspection process and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. CRB offers an IM6 graphite rod that comes in multiple colors and offers a 1 year warranty.

Wrapping Thread

Wrapping thread is what really personalizes your fishing rod. Whether you go with muted colors for a classic fly rod or a bold, flashy rod for the surf, thread colors and patterns will create that rod story. ProWrap wrapping thread offers a variety of colors and styles to make any rod special. The nylon thread is colorfast to ensure years of sun protection and is available in 80 colors. You can also add metallic thread to accent the main color.
